Arts & Culture Grants

Guidelines

Each year Remarkable Lake County, OH awards grants to a wide variety of community organizations. Our goal is to support events and programs focused on culture, history and the fine and performing arts which also positively impact the travel and tourism industry in Lake County.

Applicants must be an entity incorporated in Lake County with a minimum one-year history of providing public programs or activities specifically related to arts and cultural heritage. The event must also be verified to increase tourism and or overnight stays from outside of Lake County.

Judging for the applications will take place in April of each year, and the Bureau's Board of Trustees will officially approve the grants after that.

The maximum grant award is $10,000. Those that granted an award must use the funds within the current year of receiving it.

Remarkable Lake County, OH, recognizes the economic and cultural impact of our arts and culture programs for potential visitors. Applicants must, however, be aware the grant funding process is a competitive one and is not an entitlement or guarantee.
