2023 State of Travel & Tourism

Join us for lunch on Wednesday, May 31 at 11:30 AM for our annual meeting to hear about the State of Travel and Tourism in Lake County, OH. Our keynote speaker this year is Mary Mertz, Director of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), who will discuss several initiatives ODNR is working on, ranging from their educational outreach programs to capital projects such as the new Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center to several projects ODNR is involved with right here in Lake County.

Attendees will also hear from Neil Stein, Executive Director of Remarkable Lake County, OH, who will provide insight on current travel trends in Lake County, including hotel occupancy, bed taxes, expanded grant offerings, the growing Grand River Valley wine region, and the continued, positive economic impact travelers have on the Lake County economy.

This year's event will take place at Painesville Township Park, which overlooks Lake Erie, features an amazing 200' pier, and is a perfect backdrop to discuss the outdoors and the importance of travel and tourism!

Finally, all attendees will receive a free, premium giveaway item you won't want to miss!

Whatever the reason, missing out on something we were looking forward to can be a real disappointment.

If you find yourself in this situation, don't fret - there are still ways to get caught up and stay informed about what happened. Here are a couple of tips to help you stay connected even if you missed the annual meeting:
